Covert Communication With Relay Selection

In this letter, we investigate covert communication in relay networks with selection. We consider the scenario that while forwarding source's message, selected opportunistically transmits its own message to destination covertly. derive probability of detection error (PDE) and average rate (ACR) a closed form, based on which analyse effects system parameters performance communication. Our analysis indicates applying selection causes decrease PDE, however, it can provide an ACR gain when transmission source increases.
